November has arrived, the final month of hurricane season. Again, we have witnessed, maybe even experienced, the extreme power of water actualized in a hurricane. There was no shortage of media coverage on the frightening potential and actual impact of Hurricanes Florence and Michael here in America. This was important, as it made us aware and may have saved countless lives. But where is the other side of the water story? For every ying, there is a yang. Over the next few weeks, we will be exploring the other side of the water story, the healing power of water. I will be sharing compelling information and research from the 2018 BlueMind Summit. If you are looking for good news, hope and ways that you and your family, organization and/or community can enhance your health and wellness, you will want to watch for upcoming newletters, blogs and videos provided by The Nature Nurse™. So sign up/subscribe now to be the first to learn about the positive power water offers us. To get us started, I am giving away a free copy of the best-selling book, BlueMind: The Surprising Science That Shows How Being In, On, Near, or Under Water Can Make You Happier, Healthier, More Connected and Better at What You Do by Wallace J. Nichols. I will also send you a blue marble-more about the significance of this later. To enter: Simply write in the comments below how you engage in water and a simple description of what it does for you. For example: I love to go to the beach, it is my place to let go of stress, restore my soul and reenergize my body. Winner will be drawn at random, entry deadline is noon, November 10, 2018, no purchase necessary, offer good in the US Continental States. I look forward to reading your comments and discussions as we dive in to the wonder of water together.

Swimming as soon as the temperatures hit 60 here in Northern NY and continuing to swim until it is too cold to stand it, that is the water game I play in the ADK Mountains. I love to go for walks in the rain, even this cold November rain. Nope, no umbrella to protect from getting wet. Let it wash over me!

Everything I do is a story about water. Growing up, the creeks around my home we’re my primary source of adventure and discovery. Plants, natural extensions of the creek, became portable containers of water. H2O in carefully arranged cells. Now, as a landscape architect, I have the ability to bring the magic, mystery, and healing properties of water into people’s personal lives. Even if I only hint at the presence of water through carefully selected and arranged plants, the connection is palpable. Now to figure out how to measure the impact on my clients’ health to produce data.

I swim in the North Sea off the coast of Kent in the UK all year round come rain or shine snow or hail. The sea is exciting it’s different every day it connects me to people all over the world as it washes in and outt on its unstoppable cycle. The sea water invigorates my body and calms my soul. I love it’s ever changing majesty! I love it when it’s rough I love it when it’s calm and glassy I love the sky all around me when I’m out in it, the silly texture on my skin, I can never wear a wetsuit I need the water on me so these days it’s a short 25 minute dip in neoprene gloves and boots and hat... heaven!

That is a good tip! Thank you very much for sharing on how you manage the content of your social media. Social media in todays generation really play an important role in the corporate industry and also in the society itself. I am so glad that I was able to cope up with the new trend step by step. I guess that this generation helps improve in the economy and different fields also. On the other hand, it has its own consequences we have to face so we have to make sure that we think before we click.
