Honeybees provide pollination services valued at between $15-20 billion annually in the United States alone.
 
How can we help support these insects that are so vital to our survival?  Here are three simple things most of us can do:
 

1. Participate in #NoMowMay and allow your yard, park, or other lawn areas to grow essential flowers that provide food for bees.

 

1. Skip applying herbicides, pesticides, and insecticides to your lawn.  Not only will you help support the bees and other essential pollinators, you will also save money and decrease the amount of toxic chemicals leaching into our waterways
